There are some side effects that have been noted with the use of Benazepril. Dehydration is something you have to be very careful of. This product can increase sweating and it can also cause diarrhea. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids and that your body doesn’t get low on electrolytes as this can cause an unsafe drop in electrolytes.

Some common side effects with this medication include coughing, headaches, drowsiness, and dizziness. Never operate a vehicle or machinery under the influence of Benazepril until you know exactly how it is going to affect you. If you experience fainting, difficulty breathing, or you have trouble swallowing you want to see a doctor as soon as you can.
