What is Campicillin?
Campicillin is the same as Ampicillin. This is a type of powerful antibiotic that can help to kill harmful bacteria. It is often prescribed when other forms of antibiotics such as Augmentin aren’t working for someone. It is classified as a Penicillin.

Dosage and How to Take
This medication is typically given in a daily dose of 500 mg. the capsules should be taken on an empty stomach to reduce the risk of nausea and vomiting. Don’t consume any food for at least 1 hour after taking this medicine. For more serious situations, a second dose may be necessary as well. Make sure you take this medication as directed and follow all instructions carefully.
As is the case with all antibiotics, make sure you take Campicillin for the entire duration. This can be up to 14 days. However, most people start to feel much better within a few days of taking it. Don’t stop using the medication or the bacteria can continue to develop and you can become ill all over again.
Possible Side Effects
There are some side effects which can be caused due to the use of Campicillin. This includes diarrhea so you need to make sure you take action to remain hydrated. In severe, cases you may be admitted to the hospital so medication can be administered and an IV can administer fluids.
Possible side effects can include headache, abdominal pain, and vagina discharge. Let your doctor know if you experience any bloody stools, you have a fever, or you suffer from excessive fatigue.
