Uses

Mirago 25 (Mirabegron) is a medicine with antispasmodic effect. It is used to treat an overactive bladder with symptoms of urinary incontinence, rapid urination, and urgent urination.

Mirago 25 (Mirabegron) promotes relaxation of the smooth muscles of the bladder, and also increases the concentration of cAMP in the tissues of the bladder. Thus, Mirago 25 (Mirabegron) improves the reservoir function of the bladder by stimulating beta3-adrenergic receptors located in its wall.

Dosage and Administration

Always follow your doctor`s instructions when using Mirago 25 (Mirabegron) to get the safest and most effective results from treatment. As a rule, the standard dose of Mirago 25 (Mirabegron) is 2 tablets (50 mg) once a day regardless of food intake.

The tablets must be swallowed whole, washed down with a glass of water, do not chew, crumble or break.

The missed dose should be taken as soon as possible. It is advisable to skip the missed dose if it is already time for your next scheduled dose. Do not use extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.

Side effects

The use of Mirago 25 (Mirabegron) may cause side effects in some patients including:

• urinary tract infections
• vaginal infection
• tachycardia
• gastritis
• dyspepsia
• papular rash
• hives
• increasing blood pressure

Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any serious or worrying symptoms.

Precautions

Patients with manifestations of severe renal and liver failure should be treated with caution and the dose for them should not exceed 25 mg per day.

Pregnancy. Mirago 25 (Mirabegron) is not recommended for use in pregnancy due to lack of appropriate data.

Breastfeeding. Mirago 25 (Mirabegron) is not recommended for use in breastfeeding due to lack of appropriate data.

Mirago 25 (Mirabegron) does not or may have a minor effect on the reaction rate when driving or operating with other mechanisms.
