Uses
Mirago 50 (Mirabegron) is an antispasmodic drug. It is used to treat symptoms such as urinary incontinence, frequent urination and urgent urination. Mirago 50 (Mirabegron) is a selective beta3-adrenergic receptor agonist. When exposed to mirabegron, relaxation of the smooth muscles of the bladder occurs, as well as an increase in cAMP concentrations in the tissues of the bladder.
Dosage and Administration
Always follow your doctor`s instructions when using Mirago 50 (Mirabegron) to get the safest and most effective results from treatment. Typically, the recommended dose is 1 tablet (50 mg) once a day regardless of food intake.
The tablet must be swallowed whole, washed down with a glass of water, do not chew, crumble or break.
The missed dose should be taken as soon as possible. It is advisable to skip the missed dose if it is already time for your next scheduled dose. Do not use extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.
Side effects
The use of Mirago 50 (Mirabegron) may cause side effects in some patients including:
- tachycardia
- urinary tract infections
- dyspepsia
- gastritis
- hives
- rash
- increase in blood pressure

Precautions
Experience with Mirago 50 (Mirabegron) during pregnancy is limited. Therefore, Mirago 50 (Mirabegron) is not recommended for use during pregnancy. During the period of treatment with Mirago 50 (Mirabegron), women capable of childbearing should use adequate methods of contraception.
There are no studies to study the effect of mirabegron on breast milk production, the excretion of mirabegron with breast milk, and exposure to the baby. Mirago 50 (Mirabegron) should not be used by women during lactation.
Mirago 50 (Mirabegron) does not have a clinically significant effect on the ability to drive vehicles and work with mechanisms.
